Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech/Language Pathology

Our therapists work closely with each patient’s referring physician, to develop individualized programs designed to assist each patient in achieving maximum functional gains, in a minimum number of visits. Therapists emphasize education at Gottsche Rehabilitation Center to help patients understand the importance of rehabilitation and keep them involved in their rehabilitation program. Our physical therapists are all licensed with years of experience. They utilize a variety of therapeutic treatment tools to evaluate and treat injuries and disabilities of all types to improve the quality of their lives. [one_half] [dropcap]PT[/dropcap]
Physical Therapy Services
Physical therapists (PTs) are highly-educated, licensed health care professionals who can help patients reduce pain and improve or restore mobility – in many cases without expensive surgery and often reducing the need for long-term use of prescription medications and their side effects.  They teach patients how to prevent or manage their condition so that they will achieve long-term health benefits. PTs develop a plan using treatment techniques to promote the ability to move, reduce pain, restore function, and prevent disability. – www.apta.org [dropcap]SLP[/dropcap]
Speech and Language Pathology
Speech and language pathologists specialize in treating and working with the full range of human communication and its disorders.  They evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, cognitive-communication and swallowing disorders across the lifespan. – www.asha.org [/one_half] [one_half last] [dropcap]OT[/dropcap]
Occupational Therapy Services
Occupational therapists help people across the lifespan participate in the things they want and need to do through the therapeutic use of everyday activities (occupations). Common occupational therapy interventions include helping children with disabilities to participate fully in school and social situations, and providing supports for older adults experiencing physical and cognitive changes.  – www.aota.org [dropcap]MT[/dropcap]
Post-Rehabilitation Services
Post rehabilitation IS for anyone.  No prescription necessary.  Our post-rehab program will give you the opportunity to maximize your health or provide continuity between formal rehabilitation and an independent wellness program!  You will get the 1:1 attention you need with specialized trainers with a program overseen by a licensed clinician.
